Sunset Acres Resort is located along the north-eastern shores of Last Mountain Lake providing inhabitants
with a wealth of different activities from which to choose. The Walleye and Pike fishing on Last Mountain Lake is among the best in North America. Ice fishing,
cross-country skiing, skating and snowmobiling are typically available in the
winter months from November to late March. Sunset Acres is also located
within proximity to excellent hunting grounds.
The lake is nearly 90 square miles in size and up to 100 feet in depth in some areas. This provides ample room for boating, waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding, sailing, parasailing and many other water sports. A private marina and boat launch is proposed at the South end of the resort for the exclusive use of the residents of Sunset Acres Resort. Escape the city, relax and enjoy the sunset. Take a long walk along the shoreline or go for a swim in this pristine freshwater lake from your very own private dock (lakefront lots only) or from the private Sunset Acres Resort beach.
